When I think of exceptional summer vacations, this region comes to mind in Southern most region bordering Italy on the Mediterranean Sea.  The part of this region that excites me isn't the coastal villages or resorts it's the unique offerings of the smaller villages, along the Rhone River and upper villages bordering Lyon & the Rhone Alpes.  Creating a visit like no other, adding multiple options for exploring the region will all it has to offer.  This region is a combination of villages, vineyards, cities and much of what you'd expect on a European vacation except when diversity is a key to your vacation this is a top destination.  Let's explore some of the options including a wonderful villa stay offered by our top tier provider.  The photos are from our provider, I'm posting them in my blog with their permission.
